Free 30 minute sessions of active movement
for babies from birth to crawling. Go Baby Grow is a new service at the Library for babies from birth to crawling comprising active movement sessions designed to deliver early movement experiences that will impact on the way babies learn and grow. These sessions include both parent and child in fun activities set to music.
Please bring a baby rug to each session.
Sessions will be held in the Children's Room at Whangarei Central Library every Wednesday from 2 to 2.30 pm starting
17 February 2010.

Friends of the Library Holiday Short Story Competition Write a short story of not more than 1,500 words on any
subject and be into win cash prizes or book vouchers. Closing date extended toSunday 28 February 2010
Library Book Club
We are starting a book club soon. If you are interested in taking part please let us know your preference for book club times: morning, lunchtime, afternoon or evening by email to: Gaylene Town-Treweek

We will hold a meeting in February with interested members to discuss options and set up guidelines.
Fees and Charges on Library Cards From 1 February 2010 we will be asking our library members to clear their card and those for which they are a guarantor of all fees and charges before the card can be renewed.
Library cards are renewed every 2 years.
