Whangarei District Libraries supplements our collection every three months with a wide range of books. In addition the Mobile Library visits monthly. The timetable is advertised in local papers and on this website - on the Rural Timetable, look for Mangapai-Maungakaramea-Portland Area stops.
Due to the isolation of some areas, small libraries have been set up at the old Springfield School, Waiotira Primary and the hall at Maungakaramea.
These collections are changed about every four to five months from the Tauraroa Community Library by local volunteers.
