Information about the Mobile Library, its services and routes.

Whangarei Libraries Mobile Library.

We are very proud of our Mobile Library service which was launched in September 2003.
The original big red bus was replaced with a new purpose built vehicle in July 2017.

In many ways, the Mobile Library is similar to any of the Whangarei libraries but  on a smaller scale.

The Mobile Library carries a comprehensive collection catering for adults, teens and children including a wide range of fiction and non fiction titles, pukapuka Maori, magazines, large print, talking books plus a selection of DVD's.
