Planning to travel the world, learn how to play the guitar, or just sit back and watch your favourite movie... it's all possible when you take advantage of our collection of more than 3,000 DVDs including feature films from New Zealand and world cinema, plus a wide range of non fiction movies on subjects such as history, music, nature, parenting, science and travel.

Borrowing information

  • Movie, TV Series and Children's DVDs: 1 week for $2

  • General interest (non fiction) DVDs: 2 weeks free of charge

  • New release DVDs: 3 days for $4

  • Requests (or holds) can be put on DVDs except new release DVDs

  • Overdue charges are: $1.10 per day for new release DVDs; 50 cents per day for rental DVDs; 40 cents per day for non rental DVDs

  • DVDs can be returned to any Library branch.
