Generosity New Zealand provides giveME and giveUs databases containing funding information for individuals and groups in New Zealand.

Members of Whangarei District Libraries have free access to these two databases.

When you enter Generosity New Zealand for the first time, you will be asked to set up an account using your email address and a password.

givUS contains comprehensive information about funding for New Zealand community groups.
It offers access to more than 1,200 grants and schemes for communities, volunteer organisations, schools, groups, sport clubs and Iwi.
Find assistance for nearly everything, including:

  • Operational costs
  • Building redevelopment
  • Project based resources

Select from picklists of options to narrow the search to where you are based, what you want the money for etc., and givUS will give you a list of all funders you can try.
