​Pay Library fines via Internet banking

Fines can be paid using Internet banking.

Payment is made to Whangarei District Council bank account number: 12-3115-0040516-002

Council is set up as a bill payee with your bank.

Search for Whangarei in the payee list on your bank's website and select WHANGAREI DISTRICT COUNCIL - LIBRARY from the list of payee options.

Please include the following information:

  • Your surname and initials

  • Library card number

If you have any further enquiries regarding online payments please phone 09 430 4200 and ask for the Revenue office.

Pay Library fines and charges with My Monitor

To use this facility, you will need to set up a My Monitor account. To get started click the button below:

Enter a valid Whangarei Libraries card number and PIN, then tick the box to accept the Terms and Conditions.

When you are logged in the main account page is displayed with your My Monitor account balance, recent Library services activity and current Library fines and charges.

Top Up My Monitor account

Payments are by credit card only.

To top up your account click on the green Add Value button and either select the amount you want to add or enter a dollar amount

To pay fines

Once you have topped up your My Monitor account click the red Pay button, then tick the box or boxes next to the charges you wish to pay.
