Library Wifi Service
A Wifi service is available at Whangarei Central, Kamo, Onerahi and Tikipunga Libraries during Library opening hours.
Bring your mobile devices to the Library to browse the Internet, send and receive emails, do your research for study, business or general interest, download and upload files, check your social media accounts. However this service is not suitable for downloading and viewing video.
Library Wifi Vouchers
The Wifi service at Whangarei Libraries is accessed via a voucher system.
Vouchers can be purchased from the Information desks at each Library:
Connecting to Library Wifi
Open a browser and when a Select a Wireless Network window opens, click or tap on Library
Enter your Voucher Code
Click or tap Use this Voucher.
Library Wifi service conditions
Each voucher code will expire 24 hours after the code has been entered or when the data quota of 2,048 MB is used within 24 hours.
Voucher codes can only be used once, there is no starting and stopping time facility.
If you reconnect your device within the 24 hour time frame, it will automatically connect to the Library Wifi service.
The Library Wifi service is only available during Library opening hours.
Vouchers purchased on Friday afternoons and weekends will have reduced access due to shorter Library opening hours.
Lost vouchers cannot be replaced nor can unused vouchers be refunded.
Connection to this wifi service may not be available on some devices.
By accessing the wireless network, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by this agreement.
The wireless network service is provided by Whangarei Library and is completely at their discretion. Your access to the network may be blocked, suspended, or terminated at any time for any reason and no refund will be issued.
You agree not to use the wireless network for any purpose that is unlawful and take full responsibility of your actions.
The wireless network is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied.
