Schedule a free 1 hour, one-on-one session with a librarian at at a mutually agreed time in Whangarei Central Library for help with:
The Library catalogue - how to find an item, request and renew items, manage your library card account
Researching a topic using the Internet and our online resources
Setting up and using an email account
Internet basics and social media
Downloading eBooks, eMagazines and eAudiobooks from our library websites onto your device
Discovering new books and authors that match your interests.
This service is available Monday to Friday between 9 am and 5 pm.

- Preferred date and time
- An outline of the help you require.

We provide brief answers to factual questions or suggest where you will find resources online or in the library that might help answer your queries in the following areas:
Family history research, particularly relating to relatives who lived in the Northland New Zealand area
General interest
School projects
Business and tertiary study
Help with your library card account
We provide this service from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm and we will answer your questions within 48 hours. Please allow longer over weekends and public holidays.
